"Seize the Advantage in a Downturn"

The I-Consulting Group (ICG) successfully launched the ICG's Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Forum Series on the topic "Seize the Advantage in a Downturn" held on April 23, 2009 at the Conrad Hotel, Hong Kong . It received wide support with substantial attendance from the legal and IT industry as well as The Law Society of Hong Kong.

Numerous partners and IT leaders from the largest and most prestigious global l egal firms participated in the Forum. They included DLA Piper , Allen & Overy , Baker & McKenzie, Stephenson Harwood & Lo and many others.

In this Forum, we provided an opportunity for the industry - practitioners, both lawyers and IT leaders within the legal field, to gather and share useful experience and innovative insights on the current financial downturn, and how ICT can help reduce the burden. The uniqueness of the event was ICG designating one representative from each area within the business-IT value chain to share their different perspective and address the current concerns and challenges.

He provided very knowledgeable and useful advice and comments on how law firms can emerge stronger and more competitive from the current financial crisis!
