ICG would like to congratulate the 5th anniversary of Knowledge Management Development Centre for their continuing contribution on promoting the awareness and advancing the practice of Knowledge Management in Hong Kong.

As a professional IT outsourcing company, we believe that the knowledge management plays a significant role in the IT managed services and ongoing service improvement. We are delighted to see KMDC has showcased Hong Kong’s the biggest achievement in knowledge management development and we appreciate their great aspiration.

The Knowledge Management Development Centre (KMDC) held its official GRAND LAUNCH back in 2004. On December 3rd at the Senior Officers' Mess, Hong Kong Police Headquarters. Dr Edward Rogers (NASA) was the honorable speaker. Over 100 distinguish guests participated to witness Hong Kong’s first step into the Knowledge Management Journey. So much has happened over the past five years as more organizations in HK have embarked on the KM Journey with more local institutions investing valuable resources into R&D and Education effort in KM.

Five years in Hong Kong is now a prominent Regional and Global KM hub in Asia. The 6th annual International Conference on Knowledge Management (ICKM) will be held in Hong Kong starting on December 3rd 2009, exactly 5 years after KMDC’s launch in Hong Kong. KMDC is invited as an official collaborating partner of ICKM this year. On the eve of Dec. 3rd 2009, KMDC will celebrate the 5 years of greatness in Asia’s Knowledge Management development with participants from ICKM at the KMDC 5th Anniversary & ICKM Conference Banquet Event.
